Experience has shown that a timely response to discrimination allegations has been an employer’s most effective tool to successfully resolve EEO complaints. Many companies are still slow to respond to EEO complaints by their employees. Others respond to the allegations timely, but resort to using company personnel who are in many cases untrained to conduct the proper investigation and frequently are too close to the situation to render an unbiased opinion. This could all end in costly litigation and damages that could have been avoided. 

At Phillips and Associates, we employ experienced investigators who will respond to your discrimination complaints within 24 hours. Our investigations are discreet and confidential, and we use non-confrontational investigative techniques to determine the full scope of the complaint, identify the employees involved, and make recommendations to avoid future allegations. A support team of human resource professionals, labor attorneys, and occupational health physicians also aide in our investigations where appropriate. We conduct objective interviews of everyone having knowledge of the allegation, and provide you with preliminary results within three working days when possible. The investigation will be documented in a written report within 10 working days of completion. We also assist you with obtaining evidence regarding “reasonable accommodations” and “limited major life activity” issues as they apply to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
